Marc came back to open Jules in 2006 after two years away in France. Jules offers some of the most delectable, fine, traditional French foods for your everyday enjoyment as well as custom made cakes and tarts for special occasions.

In addition to a wide variety of sweet goodies for takeout orders for your parties and catering needs, you can enjoy savoury light lunches including salads, sandwiches, quiches, croque-monsieur and more in the warm and cosy ambiance.


Marc Tournayre has extensive experience, over twenty five years, in retail food and service industry in Canada and in France.

In France he owned high-end restaurant, Tournayre, in partnership with brother, Eric Tournayre, for eleven years where he worked as Chef and Dessert Chef. 

In the past ten years in Canada, Marc worked as Pastry Chef in various restaurants then went on to open his own French pastry shop, Tournayre Patisserie, in the Beaches area of Toronto.

And now, at Jules Café Patisserie, Marc is happy to bring the best tastes of France with his delicious croissants, cakes and bread.
